Les Fossel

Les has headed Restoration Resources, Maine’s largest historic house restoration company, since 1975.

Currently Les serves on 9 boards and committees, including LincolnHealth, Maine Preservation, and Maine Allcare.

Les chaired the DaPonte String Quartet for 10 years. He served on the faculty of both USM and KVCC.

When Les was in the Maine Legislature, was the Moderate Caucus Co-chair, and served on the Judiciary, Government Oversight, Insurance & Financial Services, Health & Human Services, and Congressional Reapportionment committees. Les was a member of the Rho class of Leadership Maine.

Les graduated from Lake Forest College with a degree in Sociology/Anthropology. Les and his wife Merry (they met in high school) lives in an 1815 Alna Cape with 3 barns (with 27 kw of solar panels and 4 heat pumps), a greenhouse, and 39 acres with a large organic garden, orchard, pasture, & hayfield.
