Lisa Whited
Lisa believes in the art of possibility and has a passion for improving the world of work. Lisa has a holistic outlook on work: it has a ripple effect on our communities, society, and the world. When work is better our world is better. She is driven to make a dent in the abysmal statistic that 87% of people worldwide are disengaged at work. Lisa’s foundational belief is that all voices need to be heard in a change process.
Lisa has an MS in Organization + Management from Antioch University and holds certifications in mediation, facilitation, interior design, and as a circular economy specialist. She speaks at conferences regarding the future of work and consults with companies large and small, local and global. She has consulted with Omnicom, Google, Microsoft, bp, MEMIC, Diversified Communications, Kepware/ptc, Patrons Oxford, Tilson, Woodard & Curran, and Clark Insurance, among others.
Lisa’s book, Work Better. Save the Planet is a guide for building employee engagement while positively impacting climate change. Lisa is a Senior Partner of Global Workplace Analytics and provides consulting services to other partner organizations and private clients. Lisa served as an organizational development consultant to the 77 chapters of the US Green Building Council (USGBC) from 2008-2013.
Lisa is the granddaughter of a potato farmer and the daughter of an engineer. The first informs her work ethic and the second explains her love of solving problems. Lisa and her husband, Pete Chanis, live in Portland, Maine and have three children, a cat and a dog.
