Zoe Malia

Zoe Malia joined ecomaine in December 2024 as the Program Manager for the Multi-Family Recycling Initiative. She works with a team to enhance recycling programs and advance sustainable waste solutions across Maine’s multi-family housing communities.

Previously, Zoe served as the Environmental Sustainability Manager at Allagash Brewing Company, where she led initiatives in waste reduction, greenhouse gas monitoring, and employee engagement, significantly reducing the brewery’s environmental footprint.

A Portland native, Zoe holds a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry from Manhattan College, along with certificates in Carbon Accounting and Corporate Sustainability. Zoe is passionate about leveraging her expertise to drive meaningful sustainability efforts across Maine.
