Megan Hellstedt

Megan Hellstedt supports businesses in setting long-term strategies and action plans that improve business outcomes while creating a healthier planet and stronger communities. She previously served as the Vice President of Health & Sustainability at Ahold Delhaize, an international food retailer. Over the course of nearly 15 years in this role, Megan helped the company establish itself as a leader in the industry through initiatives that prioritize people, planet, and business. Under her leadership, the company was recognized as a member of the Dow Jones Sustainability world index, issued an innovative Sustainability Bond, and focused on inspiring customers to make healthier choices, increasing product transparency, and eliminating waste.

Megan holds a Master’s degree in environmental management from the Yale School of the Environment and previously worked in land conservation on the Maine coast. She serves on the board of the Wolfe’s Neck Center for Agriculture and the Environment and is passionate about creating healthier and more sustainable food systems.
