Jennifer Brooks

Jen is the owner of Eventful Communications, a small business focused on events, public relations, and marketing. She started her nonprofit journey at Penquis, a private nonprofit community action agency based in eastern Maine. Her responsibilities at the agency encompassed program development, grants management, facilitation, and community relations. In 2009, she transitioned to Eastern Maine Development Corporation, leading the Mobilize Eastern Maine initiative and other strategic efforts to foster economic growth in Eastern Maine. Since 2017, she has helped many nonprofits and small businesses achieve success through creative events, strategic marketing initiatives, and meaningful public relations.
