Christine Baillargeon

Christine Baillargeon is Chief Operating Officer for Alodyne, LLC, where she provides oversight over all aspects of the business, both in the office and at the project site. Alodyne, LLC is clean energy company that assists large commercial and industrial customers with finding more efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective options for heating, air conditioning and ventilation.

Christine has been a resident of Maine since 2015 and brings a diverse range of industry experience and skill sets. As Program Manager of the Economic Vitality Corporation of San Luis Obispo County, she managed a county-wide Economic Strategy implementation project.

Known as the “cat herder”, Christine worked with over 200 business leaders and elected officials, to achieve a wide variety of economic initiatives. Working across six sectors of industry, focus included housing and infrastructure, project economic analysis, broadband, large scale solar, workforce development and regional branding. During the five years Christine managed this project, it received two Awards of Merit from the California Association for Economic Development.

Christine was a regional partner in the California Stewardship Network, acting as a conduit between the business community and government. The Network spans 15 regions in California, focusing on region wide solutions to local economic challenges. In partnership with California Forward, the Network hosts the annual California Economic Summit, creating an opportunity for dialogue between business leaders and state legislators on regional needs.

Christine acted as Program Coordinator for two Energy Watch Partnerships serving San Luis Obispo and Kern counties. These partnerships between local government and the investor-owned utilities provided a platform for community outreach, education and program implementation. The partnership’s focus was achieving state, local and individual energy efficiency goals.

Christine served as the Housing Programs Coordinator for the City of Morro Bay, incorporating sustainable practices into the Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation grant program and drafting a five-year sustainability plan for the City.

Christine has over 20 years of experience in real estate development (single-family, Low-income senior apartment communities and all-suites hotels), and is a LEED Accredited Professional. Having spent much of her career in a region with significant environmental resources, she is well-versed in the public review process, building and land use permitting, environmental mitigation, finance, project management and site supervision. She was a Board Chair on the Central Coast Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council, for the Strategic Partnership and Education Committees.

Christine has raised two children, is an avid outdoor explorer, and has a passion for music. You can find her playing professionally in an around Portland, Maine
